Country Life • Few people can encapsulate nostalgic rural imagery in the style of this talented man. The charm of his paintings speaks for itself … but here are some words from the artist.

Gentle Giants • This masterful Australian includes working horses in many of his paintings. Here he describes his own definitive approach to one of his favourite subjects.

MASTER HINTS AND TIPS

Circle of Friends • This uniquely talented lady assigns much credit for her wealth of artistic achievements to a circle of close friends … people who have helped her to overcome a negative past by confronting her with new challenges.

Picket Line • A trio of lambs got separated from their mums at shearing time and didn’t ‘mother up’ afterwards. Their blue sprayed heads denote which paddock they came from. The baling twine around their legs is to keep them from moving.

MASTER HINTS AND TIPS

Lethbridge Gallery • Art galleries are scattered all over our magnificent country, hosting and promoting the works of Australia’s diverse exponents of art. On the pages of Artist’s Palette magazine we will seek to showcase an extensive selection of these important venues.

Big Rigs • If a truck driver was also an artist, what subject would he favour? Trucks, of course! This clever Queenslander has certainly found his niche in the world of art.

‘Texas T’ • This artist has developed his childhood fascination with big trucks into a worthwhile hobby painting pictures of rigs … to supplement his career as an interstate truck driver.
