Happy on the Vaal • Weltevrede lies just outside Parys and it’s a lovely getaway on the banks of the Vaal River where you can camp, fish, play and relax in luxury. Its Afrikaans name could not be more appropriate, says Nols Schoeman of Riebeeckstad.
