FODEN FAN • Down by Gatwick Airport, Darren Clark is continuing a business which can trace its roots back to 1900. He’s also the proud owner of two fine Fodens, and while one is in preservation as a tribute to his famous grandfather, the other is very definitely a working vehicle. Peter Simpson tells the story.

MAGIC MEMORIES • Perry Como’s ’fifties hit song ‘Magic Moments’ referred to ‘memories we’ve been sharing’. When it comes to ‘magic’ memories this 1980 ERF B-Series, named ‘The Wizard’ from Shirley’s of Cellarhead, will certainly conjure up a few such memories that are worth sharing among enthusiasts. This great British classic was only a few months old when photographed at the company’s yard in April1981.
