Magazine

Yours is the UK’s best-selling fortnightly lifestyle magazine for women over 50. We offer targeted, trusted and useful advice, whether it’s to help readers look their best, to stay healthy and active, enjoy their free time or to manage their money better. We celebrate 50-plus women overcoming difficulties or achieving amazing things. We like to look back with our readers and listen to their views too.

Welcome…

Dream dancers! • Our round-up of the funny, fascinating and unusual stories this fortnight

Dancing with whales • A lucky diver had a once in lifetime experience with one of the largest mammals in the ocean. After spotting the humpback whales playing at the surface of the water off the remote island of Tubuai in French Polynesia, Shane Gross and his diving buddies slipped silently into the ocean and swam in their direction. "As soon as we saw them we stopped swimming," said Shane. "And what happened next was nothing short of astonishing. The whales swam directly to us, passing within a few metres. We were still and silent on the outside while bursting with excitement on the inside. Little did we know they would stay with us for the next four hours! We didn't even have to swim to keep up, they kept coming back to us."

Meeting place • Our pick of your best letters, pictures & wise words…
