In-Fisherman is for the avid freshwater angler. Each issue provides detailed instructions and demonstrations on catching, cleaning, and eating your favorite species of fish, and reports on the latest scientific studies concerning fish and habitat conservation. This is the source for finding fishing hotspots, new tackle, effective equipment, and more!

LIPLESS LURES BAITS FOR ALL SEASONS • While always an early-season favorite, we’ve expanded the application of lipless lures greatly, in terms of techniques and lure styles available. Their narrow wobble, flash, and flat shape imitate many sorts of baitfish. Then there’s those vibrations they produce, running shallow or deep. Over the years, many of my best catches have come during the Postspawn Period, not an acclaimed time to rely on rattlebaits. It seems that there’s no bad time to fish them.

Smallmouths and the Blades of Autumn

Big-Time Walleyes Right Now!

Pickin’ Off Pike at the Pass

Micro-Rigging Panfish • Borrowing Bass Tackle for Bluegills, Crappies, Perch & More

Late-Season Catfish Around the compass

Insider Visions AND VIEWS • Go Blue! Spawn Alternatives for Steelhead

Screen Scene • The 360-Degree Perspective

North with Doc Doc’s Fatal Attraction

Reflections • Quetico You Betico
