JONATHAN WHITLAM • This issue Jonathan looks at the Massey Ferguson 3680 which some would call rather a ‘White Elephant’ now what do you think of this model? In the meantime here are our columnist’s thoughts.

THE ULTIMATE MASSEY • The editor was kindly invited by MF ‘guru’ Ian Stevens to enjoy his rebuilt 1968 Massey Ferguson 1130, which he has kept in the now fashionable patina-style condition. He has just put the impressive machine up for sale, the ultimate in the DX at the time.

ORIGINAL STANDARD ‘FLYING 12’ EX-FERGUSON VAN APPEARS! • Allan Bedford says the highlight for me at the Somerset Festival of Transport, West Woodlands Showground, Frome on 23 September 2023 was the amazing Standard ‘Flying 12’ van, one of a batch supplied to Ferguson dealers.

WILLIAM FULLER’S OWN FOUR WHEEL TRACTION LTD MASSEY FERGUSON 165 MULTI-POWER • We look at a tractor that has so much history to it, which was used by the late William Fuller (the owner of Four Wheel Traction Ltd) as his research and development tractor on his Taylor’s Farm in East Sussex.

THE TRACTOR PLANT – ITS RISE AND FALL. • At its height in the 1980s around 8,000 workers made their living at Massey Ferguson’s Coventry ‘Tractor Plant’. Home to the iconic Ferguson TE-20, the site of a wartime shadow factory and a local institution, its closure in 2003 left a gaping hole in the manufacturing heartland of the UK.
