Priceless Patterns • Patterned cast-iron pans are festive finds, especially during the holiday season. While this wreath pan is a newer piece from Lodge, embossed pieces have a long legacy in American-made cast iron. By the 1930s, Lodge was producing a small handful of bakeware sporting playful designs, and before that, Griswold Manufacturing, as well as its predecessor Seldon and Griswold Manufacturing, crafted some cleverly shaped pans as early as the 1880s. Today, vintage cast-iron gingerbread molds can be found online or in secondhand stores, and Lodge also produces a small collection of seasonal pans to take your holiday bakes to the next level.
